Torsion Springs
Torsion springs are helical coil springs that have ends that are rotated in angular deflection.
These springs offer resistance to an externally applied torque – energy is absorbed and stored when torsion springs are twisted. Torsion springs are manufactured with many different configurations to suit the required location points.
Torsion springs have a variety of uses, including mining equipment, slip drive clutches, agricultural implements to door closing devices.
